  1. I also sent General Mills a Thank You. In addition, I said that I would also buy any of their Corn based cereals if they could also be made Gluten Free. Let's hope they are considering that possibility. Kent
  2. Regarding "no ill effects", I wonder if that is enough. Isn't it true for some celiacs that small amounts of gluten may cause inflammation and intestinal damage with no apparent symptoms? Kent
  3. The CSA Gluten-Free Product Listing shows a Question Mark for all Food Colorings on their list. In terms of Vitamins, I think one would want to investigate them or call the company. Kent
  4. It does look like Natural Flavorings can be a problem. Here is some information on Dannon Yogurt. Open Original Shared Link Kent
  5. The General Mills website still shows Oats as an ingredient in Berry Berry Kix. Open Original Shared Link I'll have to take a look at an actual box in the store. I did call General Mills regarding the Rice Chex to see if the product is tested and if they have a definition of Gluten-Free. They did not want to provide any information regarding Testing or Parts Per Million...
  7. Is Arrowhead Mills Puffed Rice considered safe? I called the company and they said the product is not tested and it is produced in a facility where wheat is also processed. Thanks, Kent
  8. Last fall I stopped eating Trader Joe's Fruit-on-the-Bottom Yogurt. A number of symptoms disappeared and I started gaining weight. I was eating the Yogurt on a daily basis. Elsewhere I have read that "Natural Flavorings" may have gluten. Natural Flavorings are one of the listed ingredients. Has anyone else looked into this issue or had problems with...
  9. Thanks all for the comments and help. One remaining question is whether corn can be contaminated in transportation or storage. The same facilities could have been used for wheat, rye, or barley. I believe transportation and storage is the main issue with oats. Here is an interesting link in that regard. Note that wheat may contain a small percentage...
  10. Hi All, The Gluten Free Food list at Whole Foods Market includes their 365 Brand White and Blue Tortilla Chips but not the Yellow Tortilla Chips or Strips. Does anyone know if the Yellow Tortilla Chips or Strips are different in some way and not Gluten Free? The ingredients on the label look fine and the facility warning on the Organic Yellow Corn...
