    Hello,

I had Coffee with international delight creamer 3 tsp...Grits...peaches....2 TBS flaxseed on grits....grapes....poached egg...oh and yesterday afternoon I had 2 slices of unknown bacon at a party. I have been eating the rice grits for some time so I don't think this is the problem. I

Any idea what did this to me this morning?

I have been Gluten, soy and dairy free for almost 2 months. Fell off the wagon 3 times so far!

What kind of grits are you using? I have had to put different items "on hold" and later in my healing added them again. Though, you said you had no trouble with the grits, & beside the creamer which is gluten-free, I'm not sure. I'm over 2 yrs. gluten-free and I have suddendly become bloated when I have caffiene, so some new things just "pop-up". Oh, the joys of this disease!

  2. Mother of Jibril---

I am so happy for you! I was thinking about you a lot. I know that must have be scary for you to have to make that wait. Waiting is the hardest part!

I didn't want to write before since you weren't sure and didn't have a clear diagnosis. I was nervous when you mentioned the elevated white count. A CBC w/platelet differencial is a blood test that my drs used in the past with me.

I am a leukemia/lymphoma survivor and I do believe that the link with our disease is there. I do not have any scientific evidence to offer, only that each person in my family that display's gluten symptoms has also had some form of cancer.

So glad for your good news-

  3. Throw me in with the sick from Millet group!!

When I was first gluten-free in Jan. A real nice lady at Earthfare was helping me navigate through the available eats here and had me buy the Sam's Bakery Millet bread and wraps. Did not work for me, and I had a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact I had other allergies too! Going gluten-free was very fustrating after that experience-very depressing.

If you are lucky enough to digest Millet with no problem, I highly recommend trying Sam's-they are delicious!
