  1. I just had (MORE!) blood work done - testing fat-soluble vitamin absorption. They're also going to do a bone density scan - how is this done? Anything else I can expect? I thought I'd be done with the tests... Amy
  2. I just asked an Italian restaurant if I could bring in my own pasta to have them prepare with their sauce. I was told that it's not legal; against health code regulations. Is this true? (Wisconsin) (They'll do it, as long as I go in earlier in the day and drop it off. Seems a bit odd to me.) Thanks, Amy
  3. Thanks, Gretchen. Well, it's official - the biopsy results are positive. I think they were a little suprised at my reaction - I took it as good news, because now I can move forward! (Ok, I am having a "send off" tonight and having a beer or two.) So, I can now answer your original question:

  5. My mother has Celiac and an area hospital was doing a free screening for family members due to a study they were doing. The Tissue transglutaminase IgA Elisa result was 39.8, which they rated as a moderate positive. Follow-up blood testing, however, was negative - Reticulain AB, Endomysal AB, IgA, Anti-Gliadin IgG and IgA. That was in 2000. (I don't know...
