  1. I have Addison's disease and sensitivity to gluten, though I have yet to be tested for celiac. I've heard that there is a link between celiac and adrenal problems or other autoimmune diseases. Does anybody else have this?
  2. Wow! Lots of good ideas. I agree. Gluteny snacks fill me up. This is my first week of eating gluten-free, and I feel hungry in the evenings a lot.   3. Thanks for all of your ideas. I didn't even think of tortillas and tortilla chips. I'm just starting this, and it seems overwhelming. My son absolutely loves pasta (as do I), so that's a big adjustment. Making sandwich lunches without wheat rolls is another big adjustment. It's a whole new way of thinking, especially without my favorite foods! Susan
  4. I'm trying to buy foods that are gluten-free, but everything, especially in the health food sections, is so expensive! I almost bought gluten-free pretzel snacks for $6.00, but put it back. I'm having enough trouble making ends meet. It seems like you have to be financially comfortable not only to be a celiac, but to feed your family who isn't gluten-sensitive...
  5. Hi, I just joined. I'm trying to figure out the extent of my gluten allergy. When I have pasta or pizza or anything with wheat, I usually feel sluggish afterwards, not anything incapacitating, just blah and yuk. I've been feeling this way my whole life and I just chalked it up to being full or tired after eating. Also, I've always had mild intestinal problems...
