THis might be a little far, but I am seeing an incredible GI doctor in Torrance who also has an office in San Pedro. He's really great and to the point and is having me go through all the tests, because he thinks I may have been misdiagnosed with Celiac by an old family practice doctor! The guy really knows his stuff and he's very up-to-date. Here's the info... -
I would definitely get tested. My family practice doctor that I used to go to told me that I had a mild gluten-intolerance and that i should just start a gluten-free diet. She didnt run a gene test, didnt do an endoscopy or colonoscopy or anything like that to confirm I had celiac. She just left me hanging! And no one else in my family has it, so I dont know...

Hi, I'm 19 and just found out I have celiac four months ago. I'm back at school but since I don't have a kitchen or microwave, I've been living off of fruit, canned tuna and yogurt. Does anyone have any suggestions about other meals that don't need cooking or can be made with hot water(i have a electric kettle)? Anything would be great because i am getting... -

I'm flying to london on Virgin airlines in a couple of days. If you go their website they have five or six different meals for different dietary needs including gluten-free at this website: Open Original Shared Link All they need is 24hrs notice. I'll try it and make sure to get back to everyone on whether is was any good. Hope this helps someone!

I was wondering if anyone knew if frozen yogurt was gluten-free. I love frozen yogurt and would hate to give it up! Does TCBY or Penguins or any other place like Coldstone serve gluten-free yogurt? Thanks! -

I'm starting my sophomore year of college and i was just last week told i was gluten-intolerant. the private university i attend uses Sodexho food services which i really popular on campuses across the country. I just placed a phone call to the dining hall services on my campus and they're setting an appointment for the first week back for me with a dietician... -
I was recently at Del Taco and the employees didnt seem to know what i was talking about when explaining my gluten-free diet. Does anyone know of any thing gluten-free at Del Taco?
