  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. Hi, thanks for the info I tried SCD for 1 week - 4 separate times. After one week I was always too weak to continue. Another issue with SCD for me is that I am an athlete and had important games 3 x a week and the lack of carbohydrate was killing me, no matter how many vegetables I tried to eat. I want to try to wean down on the carbs until I can...
  3. Hi all - wanted to share my experience with SCD as well ask a few questions. Going SCD for me was the greatest improvement I had ever seen in my digestion after 10 years of trouble - the problem was I couldn't maintain it because I couldn't adapt to not having carbs - always got low energy and felt horrible (although my stomach felt better!) after a few...
  4. Hi all - thanks for all the replies! I see what you mean! My main concern is cross contamination or unknowingly eating gluten on a regular basis. I have noticed that I have become more sensitive to gluten after going gluten-free (gluten challenge was a nightmare) so maybe that will be enough of an indicator. Thanks again, I'm sure I may have a few more...
  5. Hi all - I know this has been discussed somewhat but I'm still looking for help as I'm only a few weeks into this. I've been shopping at Trader Joe's and they have a gluten free list online and also printed me one out at the store so it was very easy shopping there! Tomorrow I am going to Whole Foods but am having trouble finding a list as detailed...

I would think that a tiny bit of gluten would be better for us than a lot of gluten. However, from what I've read on the forums I'm getting the impression that a trace amount of gluten...
  7. Hmm that's true I bet dry beans are safer, just less convenient, thanks
  8. Hi all - I know black beans are generally considered gluten free but I noticed the one's from Trader Joe's are made on the same equipment as some offending foods, I only checked this after eating them and having a possible reaction. What beans do you all use that you're 100% about ? thanks!
