  1. So my son's upper endoscopy and colonoscopy came back completely normal- both visually and the biopsies. He is still having blood with every bowel movement though. We started a gluten free diet right after the procedure. I am feeling a lot more energetic without the gluten, despite having a head cold I actually feel like I am awake for once. I can't tell...

  3. Well my kiddo is back home from his procedures. They couldn't find a source of the bleeding and see nothing obviously wrong internally. It will be 5 days before we hear anything about the biopsies. My baby is groggy and a little tippy walking but otherwise seems to be just fine.   4. My 3.5 year old is going in for an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy tomorrow. Any words of advice from parents who have been there? He has had stomach problem for about 2 years and got a dx of "toddler diarrhea" from his first GI about one year ago. For the past two months he has had blood in his stools, hence the colonoscopy, and they will do the upper endoscopy...
  5. I suppose it is possible that only trying the diet will tell, but I'm afraid of an inconclusive result that would still leave me wondering. Is nausea a symptom of Celiac? I have been nauseous all of the time (and I'm not pregnant) but figure it could be environmental allergies or stress or something in my diet.
