First of all, just hang in there. It does get easier I promise. I know some foods are tempting, but just try and find substitutes. This Forum is a great place for that. You can still use your baking stones, but you need to do some prep work first. Put the baking stones in the oven and run the cleaning cycle. This will get them really hot for an extended period of time. After that you will be all good. I did this with my baking stones, and we cook gluten-free pizza on them almost every Friday and I have not had a problem...

I have been gluten-free since right before Thanksgiving, so I am still learning about all my "other" side effects. I have a question for all of you. I am struggling with joint pain. I can have my ankles, feet, or knees hurt for an hour or for days. I was diagnosed with celiac disease in Novemeber, and have been gluten-free since then. I have been careful about asking if my meds are gluten-free (some times they are helpful, and sometimes....). I am recently diagnosed, and have been working very hard at learning to cook gluten-free (not easy, but getting there). I really want to eat some pizza, and have found several recipes for the crust but what about the toppings? Which toppings are gluten-free, like pepperoni and sausage? Thank you for all your help!!! I know that if my Teflon pans are scratched I need to get some new gluten-free ones. But what about my cooking stones? Can I put them in the oven at a really high tempature and then reseason them?
