About Me

I was diagnosed with celiac disease on 10 Dec 2008 following a biopsy on 3 Dec 2008 and positive blood tests. I am asymptomatic. My celiac problem was found accidently because I have had elevated liver enzymes for 8 months and my doctor has been running every blood test known to medicine related to the liver.

I will be 60 years old in January 2008 and I am a retired college professor and retired small business owner. I live in the Mandarin area of Jacksonville, Florida. I was a special education teacher for many years in the public schools in Florida and in Georgia and I was a principal for several years in Jacksonville. My husband and I have two grown children and we are grandparents of one granddaughter. My hobbies are genealogical research and history, gardening, watching movies, watching football, and traveling.
