I'm strongly considering this. I have always loved to bake, and now with my son who has Celiac Disease, I love the challenge that comes with experimenting on gluten-free batches and seeing what I can do to make them better and tastier. I don't believe that there are any dedicated gluten-free bakeries in the Louisiana area, so I'm starting to do my research... -

Yep, my 3 yr old sleeps just like that. Nap from 1-5 and bedtime at 8:30, not waking until 9am the next morning. And half days of preschool wear him out so bad that he nearly callapses when I pick him up from school. He sees a dietician next month so hopefully it will help... -

My son has a sandy poop anything he gets into gluten. Whenever we change a sandy diaper we call it a gluten diaper and try to figure out what it was he ate. -

Thank you for sharing. It's sad that you had to fight so long when your son was actually showing the "classic" symptoms. We had to fight as well b/c my son WASN'T showing classic symptoms. My poor baby is having a terrible time. Last Thursday he had a fever of 102, so I treated him with Motrin. He complained of a throat ache and unfortunately the Drs offices were already closed and would be closed on Good Friday. Saturday morning at 2 am, his temp shot up to 104. My advice to all parents, after our ordeal, is to follow your gut. Whenever a Dr refuses testing b/c your child does not have the "typical" symptoms, find another Dr!!
