I am am negative for a wheat allergy but definitly gluten intolerant. My health has changed dramatically after cutting it out. Gluten is gluten and it is in wheat - until they genetically modify it out or something lol. Good luck! (and look for another Dr. - I've been through ALOT and the search is worth it to get a good one.) -

Hi, Just writing in to commiserate. When I delivered my son on I weighed 205. and in a year I am not down to 108 and I keep going down. (pregnancy kicked the then unknown celiac into high gear) It is scary. I just have to stay away from Gluten and the brown rice pastas etc. are helping me but it is still scary to see that needle dropping on the scale. -... -

Hi, my pregnancy kicked my (then unknown) Gluten Intolerance into high gear. I also got this awful rash called PUPPPS which is like having the worst case of poison ivy all over your body. Since the ratios of people who have Celiac and Puppps are about the same...I was just wondering. Did anyone get/have this?? Thanks!

100% YES. Long story short, my Gluten Intolerance triggered a severe magnesium deficiency which wreaked havoc on my mind and body. - and regular Drs. do the wrong blood tests for it so even if you came back with "normal levels" it might not be the case. Keep it up if and see your Dr. for good supplements - ask about magnesium. (Over the counter CVS ones...
