Hmmm..... I have been saying that to my husband (who des not have celiac disease)...... most doctors do not know enough about this topic. My GYN insisted that the prenatal vitamins that she gives from her office does not contain wheat and I should take them. She was looking for WHEAT in the list of ingredients! But I refused and bought my own gluten-free...
