  1. When do you start feeling normal in the mornings? This really effects my life.

I have probably had Celiac disease for about 20 years, just recently diagnosed. I'm still young though.

I still have the messed up mornings and then the nap ATTACK that puts me back to normal for the afternoon and evening. What is that?? When does this go away and you start feeling solid all day through?

I've been gluten free 2 months.

  2. One of my family members use to throw up a lot before diagnosed with Addison's disease.

Alternatively, he could be being exposed to flour in the air after baking has ended somewhere out of his home. Or cross contamination some how..do you have both gluten free and gluten items in the kitchen, type of dish soap or shampoo he uses. It's pretty easy to get shampoo in your mouth when you wash your hair... I just have a feeling that this kid is still getting gluten in him from something... Are any of the foods he eats ran on the same lines as other cereal grains? What toothpast is he using, has he switched his toothbrush after he was ever glutened?

    What type of floss?

Has he had all his vitamins checked?

  3. hi, I have been gluten free for about 7 weeks now and all of a sudden I have been digestive issues and can't stay away from the bathroom. I haven't had any gluten that I know of. I have been eating pears, fish, oranges, lettuce, natural peanut butter, peanuts, grapefruit slices...so I am real confused. It started about 4 days ago when I ate some new blueberries and new blanched almonds from a different store than usual. I continued to try quinoa, amaranth and buckwheat at this time which added to the problem but today I had no grains or seeds of any kind and still..

Is this part of the healing process? what am I doing wrong. I can't stand this.

  4. I have had red rings on my tongue occasionally off and on for the past few years or so. when I went gluten free, I had 1 ring on my tongue right in the front that stayed for the first month and now, at month and a bit, it seems to be gone.

Anyone else get rings on their tongue? what is this caused from?

  5. I don't know if you are male or female but, your make up or kissing rubbing against someone with gluten containing make up would do it. Your toothbrush perhaps? If you are often glutened then you should be changing your toothbrush just as often...well I would. lip balm, lotions, shampoo conditioners, soaps, dish soap? I think our digestive tracts are more sensitive......how many years damage vs how much healing time..the villi have to grow back. Maybe gluten-free flours may be a culprit. You may have a soy intolerance...similar symptoms..theres traces of soy in alot of gluten-free flours. Rather irritating but whatever. I'd rather feel good than bad...even if I'm hungry. hmm...nailpolish. hair spray, gels..

    Keep posting..

  6. Have you had a glucose sensitivity test to see if you truly are hypoglycemic. Hypoglycemia is a disorder that you will have to treat with proper diet as well and depending on the cause it will probably never go away.

I was found to have been hypoglycemic on a test years ago at the time I had taken the test.

I have since then got a blood sugar monitor and I can become too low if I don't eat all the time.

My Naturopath doctor says it will go away for sure and is caused from Celiac disease.

I have read about others who had said they had hypoglycemia, then found out they were Celiac, stopped eating gluten and their hypoglycemia went away.

I mainly have problems with it in the morning but, again sometimes my numbers are within range but, I still feel terrible.

I can have the same numbers as in the morning, in the evening at times and feel perfect but not in the morning to afternoon.

Basically I have problems feeling normal from morning to afternoon then in the evening I start feeling normal finally with energy and the whole thing repeats itself again the next day, been happening since I was a child. Any ideas? I was thinking I should get my cortisol levels checked...?

Hello, I would love to use your mascara.

I have a severe allergy to gluten.

Gluten can be found in grains.

Vitamin E and Alcohol in products can be derived from gluten.

Does your GINGERCOCOA MASCARA NATURELLE have gluten in it in any form?

    They wrote back:

Our mascara and retractable waterproof liners are all gluten free.

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

  8. IMO, there's no coming back from true Addison's disease. The NIH says that by the time a person is diagnosed with Addison's "at least 90% of the adrenal cortex has been destroyed."

The solution is to take a physiological dose of steroids (hydrocortisone) and replace what your body is supposed to be making on its own. A gluten-free diet might help to keep Addison's under better control, but it's like type I diabetes or severe Hashimoto's... once the gland is destroyed, that's it.

Thank you, that gives me a better understanding of it.
