  1. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Okay, so I think after so much trial and error...that milk is the culprit! I know that everyone has said to be careful with milk, but I just figured I wouldn't have that problem (it's so hard to give up all this stuff). Anyway I think last week that I had gotten glutened because I felt horrible, I mean awful awful awful. But this weekend I had milk products...
  3. Okay, so I am beginning to think I might be a hypochondriac, but I feel absolutely horrible and I'm so worried there is something really wrong with me. I have been gluten free for about 6 weeks and I immediately noticed a change for the better. But it's been with certain ups and downs...however now there are some things happening that are worrying me. ...
  4. Just to second and third and etc.....what so many others have said, I too have had these problems for YEARS before going gluten free. My breathing recently got worse before changing my diet and was accompanied by heart palpitations...which made me think I was having a heart attack!! I can't believe how different I am feeling now, however during the couple...
  5. Bea--- I was actually just thinking the exact same thing! I think God works in amazing ways and now that I have been gluten free for about a month I am feeling so much better and am hoping that if this does evolve into a pandemic...I am better protected for being so diligent in my food choices!
  6. I can't believe anyone would ever want to knowingly consume gluten when they know they have celiac or are sensitive. I recently accidentally got glutened and it's been almost 5 days and I"m still not feeling great! No way would I do that, plus all the cravings and depression that will go along with it. I'm with the others...you should find another way...
  7. Thanks for the replies...I have been slowly feeling better over the last couple days, but still am bloated. I get so confused because I guess it could just be PMS...I'm due in about a week...so I guess that's possible. However I think I got a little careless with food because I assumed things were safe. I got to thinking about it and it could have been...
  8. So I have been gluten free for just over 2 weeks and it has been the best! I have been a long time medical mystery and since stopping the gluten I have for the first time not felt tired, my eyes aren't red, no sneezing, no stomach pain, no swollen anything...and I've lost several inches from body. It's been just great! However last night I started to feel...
  9. I have not had my son tested yet because he is "freaking out" about getting blood drawn and I feel horrible for putting him through it. Ironically last night he was having a very bad night after all the Easter goodies and was very very emotional and things. Him and I talked last night and he asked if he could try switching the way he eats because he feels...
  10. So, I was tested for celiac and my panel came back negative :-(...however I have been gluten free for 2 weeks today and have lost weight and have felt so much better. I am not suffering from my allergies anymore, my eyes aren't red all the time, my stomach is finally not disagreeing with me. On Tuesday last week I accidentally had a glutened creamer in...
  11. I can honestly say since stopping the gluten in my diet on Monday...today being Thursday I feel pretty good. Other than a fever for some odd reason. I am not tired like I was nor am I craving carbs like crazy. I feel much more peaceful. Thanks for all the help. I had thought about going to the doctor, but honestly I don't need them to give me a confirmation...
  12. Hi, I am new to this forum and to Celiac, but I was looking for some help from someone who may know if it sounds like I have Celiac. Here's my story. I think I have probably had this intolerance all my life, but I believe it's slowly gotten worse over the last few years, so I will start with after I had my first son. I had gained a ton of weight with...
