  1. Does he seem small to you? Is he breastfed? Do you feel like he's sick? Babies can have their own growth rates and if he seems happy & healthy to you, I wouldn't worry too much. On the otherhand, if he's obviously ill to you, following a gluten-free diet is a easy "cure". My dd's growth slowed tremendously around 1 year of age and my youngest is 18 months...
  2. It is reassuring that other non-celiacs have issues with gluten-free foods. Just to confirm that it is more than fiction for him, he happily ate some nice gluten-free biscuits that I made yesterday and his stomach hurt all day. He mentioned the BM issue as well. It really does suck because I'm VERY gluten sensitive and I don't want the house full of gluten...

A bit of a reversal, but since getting off of gluten, I feel like a new person, but now DH is having digestive issues from rice flour, rice pasta, etc. I think it is in his head....it is possible to react badly to rice fours & pastas.... Seriously? Any advice? Jana gluten free since 5/13 nightshade...
  4. Hi there, I'm also a gluten-free nursing mama to a 1 1/2 year old! Sorry, I don't have much advise regarding vit.def., but I do take a sub-lingual b-complex and try to remember to...
  5. Thank you for the confirmation that I'm not insane! I really do feel so much better - not perfect yet, but world's better. I don't know if I have Celiac, but I cannot ever imagine going back to eating gluten & other foods that I have such an obvious reaction to. Definitely sticking to gluten-free & Nightshade-free diet.
  6. I know this question has probably been asked a thousand times, but my question is slightly different: Last Monday, ate a bowl of cereal for breakfast and had or horrible "reaction" day long events.... Last Tuesday, went gluten-free with a very basic diet and felt 1000x better than I have in years!!! Honestly, I felt no reaction symptoms at all on Tuesday...
