  1. I remember seeing a link on this website that lead to a great gluten free food guide. It had about every food you could imagine and every gluten-free brand of those foods. I have searched all over for it and cant find it again. If anyone knows what I am talking about I would love if you could repost the link for me! Thanks so much!
  2. Thanks everyone! I printed a bunch of info on Celiacs and the testing for it:) As well as the reaction my daughter has had to it. I am hoping since they are the only specialist in the state that they know what they are doing but if not I will be happy to tell them This is a great site! Thanks to everyone

  5. I feel for you! It is such a relief to know that we can feel better, but it feels like its at such a cost. I get angry at my husband for eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich not because I want one but because its not fair that I cant have it! I feel so childish! And I also understand how you feel being so weak! It takes me so long to make dinner because...
  6. So my daughter and I both got glutened and today was awful! I not only had to deal with my feeling like crap, but her too. And I felt sooo guilty for putting her through this. She is only one and I try to be so careful but I didnt even think and we had juice with gluten in it at a friends house. She is always such a happy baby but was so cranky! And I cant...
  7. Thanks everyone! Those are all such obvious ideas but I guess I am just so overwhelmed by this that even the obvious doesnt come to mind right away! Also my friend just told me about a homeopathic medicine that can help Celiacs but she forgot the name anyone know what she might be talking about?
  8. My DD is one years old and I dont know what to feed her for snacks. I just found out we have Celiacs and I am doing good with the meals at home. But when we go to playdates or the park or to run errands I am having trouble coming up with foods for her to munch on. Snacks at home consist of fruits, yogurts, rice, ect. But I live in Las Vegas so it gets too...
  9. I dont think I am extra sensitive so I wont worry about that but things like tortilla chips, obviously I buy the corn one but some people have told me that even corn chips can have gluten. And spices, I know marinades and such have gluten but spices?? I just get frustrated I guess because I am trying to stay away from gluten and then I keep finding out more...
  10. So I just started this whole gluten free thing, I do feel a lot better but I know that I am still eating gluten. I looked up the list of unsafe ingredients, but a lot of things that I read about on here dont have any of those ingredients from the list. Are lotions and creams something that I need to be worried about? And how do you truely know what is gluten...
  11. Thank you everyone! It really helps to know that there are others out there going through the same thing!
  12. I just found out at 24 that I have celiacs and I am trying to get used to cooking gluten free. I have a one year old who I am having tested because I think she might have it too. Anyways...
