  1. I'm always in pain too. i have been gluten-free/WF since I was dianoses in JUne 2003. I also found out at the same time that I had almost no villi in my stomach and that I had Ulcerative colitis. So I have been gluten-free for almost 6 years. I still have flare ups, I still get glutened. I have yet to find a solution.
  2. If I were you I wouldn't risk it. Being on a gluten-free diet for a long time and then going back on wheat can make you really sick. Instead, have a complete allergy screening. You could be eating something that you are allergic to and not even know it.
  3. Is it possible that you were glutened by someone in your household that "doubled- dipped" in the peanut butter. I learned the hard way too and started buying 2 jars of peanut butter. One for my family and one for me that is clearly marked and labeled with my name and gluten-free all over it with black permanant marker.
