Hang in their. We were failure to thrive for 7 years. Positive blood test and then a negative biopsy. Went to Gluten Free and we are doing great. They say the biopsy is not great because at this age the damage can be spotty and they can actually take healthy tissue by mistake. I would try gluten free. We went down the same road for 6 years before we were diagnosed with Celiac. Did they do a blood test. Have them do that first. I have seen studies that they may do away with biopsy as celiac disease damage is spotty. My child was Failure to Thrive for 6 years. He is 7 and weighs 37 lbs, we are 4 weeks into Gluten free and now egg, chicken, sweet potato... -

I made my son (7 newly diagnosed) mac and cheese. He loves it but want to make sure all ingriedents are gluten free: 1/2 pkg gluten-free noodles 1/2 stick butter small velvetta cheese block milk Today I may add some shredded Zuchinni to hide in some green vegetable.

My 7 year old has been gluten-free for about 4 weeks now. It just hit me he has trouble at breakfast with his stomach hurting and he is eating the gluten-free Honey Nut Chex, is anyone else having a problem with this cereal? -
My 7 year old has been failure to thrive since we started solid foods at age 1. We just got blood work back: AGA-IGG positive AGA-IGA Negative TTG-IGA positive EMA-IGA positive Doctor says celiac is highly likely and scheduled GI. My son has celiac and is also allergic to egg. Does anyone know a good brownie mix that does not involve egg or no of a good substitue for egg?

My 7 year old has major growth issues and has been labeled failure to thrive. All the blood work came back Celiac positive. Did a small intestine biopsy and the dr. said looks really red and irratated. Told us to go ahead and start gluten free, then 3 days later says the biopsy was negative. Could he still have celiac? -
