  1. So my son just got his blood allergy test. They tested through US BioTek for IgG. He came back extremely reactive to gluten, wheat, rye, eggs, spelt, carrots, and radishes. This confirmed the issue for gluten. However, I am confused by the dairy results. It showed no allergy to dairy (milk, casein, cheese). When they did the endoscopy it showed his...
  2. We are waiting on the blood results for allergies. I am really hoping he doesn't have a big list. But whatever will be, will be I guess. I think I am having more trouble with the casein free stuff then the gluten free. gluten-free stuff is really well labeled or if I google it I can usually get an answer. I am starting to feel less lost everyday...
  3. Is this true even if his stomach enzymes where low for milk? Can that go away too?
  4. We have a toaster oven. I thought I read it was okay as long as you line it with tin foil. It is not convection so there is no fan. Is that okay?
  5. I have been trying to get the rash biopsied- but by the time I got the senior derm in the office the rash was already scabbing. They didn't want to do it because he is so young.
  6. Okay, the GI called me back now that he had the enzyme results as well. He gave me information over the phone... but he was kind of dismissive. I think he thinks I am some crazy woman who wants my child to have a life long chronic disease.... (I just got off the phone with him- so I am still a little frustrated). He gave me some information- I am still...
  7. We did decide to put him on the Gluten-free Casein-free diet. I saw an NMD that is testing him (with the finger prick) for allergies. We are going to start there. Part of me hopes I am still wrong about all this- but he has had a dramatic change in stools in only four days gluten-free. I am waiting for the GI to call me back again and I will ask him...
  8. Thanks so much. This helped a lot. I forgot all about taco soup. He likes that. I found some waffles on the way home from the NMD today and got some tinkidas pasta I think with all that I should be able to make it through the next week at least. By then I should have had more time to think too. Thank you again so much!!!
  9. So I just took my 2 year old off gluten and I think we need to do a Gluten-free Casein-free since he has showed some reaction to cheese and yogurt. I was told in another post to start with whole foods so I know that cross contamination isn't keeping his symptoms around. Now I don't know what to feed him. I am on day 4 and have no idea what to feed...
  10. okay.... it that is the safest I guess I will do that... I am just not sure what to feed the kid. I guess I will put a post in the kids section. Thank you though!
  11. Since I just started my son out on this- should I exclude these in the beginning? Then add them or assume they could be okay and remove them if we don't see improvement?
  12. We are week one of a gluten-free diet and I am confused about Trader Joes. A lot of the stuff listed as gluten-free says made on equipment with wheat. I thought that was not okay? Is TJ's stuff okay?
  13. I am still waiting to have the nurse call me back with his blood results. My mom also has a lot of symptoms and there is a family history of autoimmune on her side of the family, so I asked her to get tested. We started him on gluten-free on Monday. His stools have already gotten a lot better. Thanks for the journal idea. That should help down the road...
  14. Hello, I am at a complete loss of what to do next. I have a two year old son. I put his history below. The biopsy came back negative but he has so many symptoms. The GI said we could do genetic testing, try him on the gluten-free diet, or just wait and hope it will be okay. Celiac explains all of the medical problems we have had with him. Does anyone...
