    I was wondering about other's experiences with the gluten-free menu at PeiWei, which is owned by PF Chang's and has many of the same menu items. My 8 year old has celiac disease, and when we go to PeiWei, we order Sweet and Sour Chicken with rice off of the gluten-free menu. Sometimes we get it with what the manager told me was a gluten-free potato starch...

  8. I just received a flyer for Popeye's Naked Chicken with only 2 grams of carbs. They marinate, season, and deep fry the chicken with no breading. Has anyone tried this and is it gluten-free? My seven year old wants to have occasional chicken tenders, and this would be a wonderful alternative! Thanks for any help!
  9. The info about the kneading I got from the Gluten Free Pantry website. It did mention changing the texture of the gluten-free bread if it is kneaded too much.   10. Hi there....the Gluten Free Pantry's Favorite Sandwich Bread is the one we use. We make it in a bread maker that makes 1 lb loaves, so we half the recipe. That way it doesn't have to stay fresh for so long. I am going to try Manna from Anna, too. I am also going to give the oven a try, since the extra kneading of the bread machine may be a problem. gluten...

  12. My seven year old son just got diagnosed with celiac disease. We are trying to find the best way to make bread and keep it fresh. We have a Welbilt breadmaker that makes a 1 lb loaf of bread, but it doesn't seem to stay fresh long enough. I have heard that the Zojirushi is the best machine for gluten-free. Does this 2 lb loaf stay fresh? I'm not sure...
