  1. Thanks for replying. Sometimes it helps just to know people understand. We have just made it through our first gluten-free Christmas and it was good. Only a couple of hiccups, but otherwise more doable than I had imagined when we first started. We do have a gluten-free house now, and everybody feels better. Thanks again .
  2. The only thing I can find is: Immunoglobulin 98. This one was on a separate page. Anyway, these results are for one of my kids, and this is why doctors frustrate me: We asked for Celiac panel cuz other son diagnosed (went gluten-free the day after blood taken) Doctor reported back that he was negative A couple weeks later the nurse called with results...

  4. My husband was recently diagnosed. He has chewed tobacco for 30 years. He would like to know if chewing tobacco has gluten. Can anybody help? He's gluten-free now, but still chews and wants so badly to quit. This may help.
  5. As you can see by my signature, there was reason to have my other son tested. And no surprise, he was positive. His main symptoms are constant sleepiness, depression, mood swings, anxiety, ADD, stuttering. He comes home from school and sleeps EVERY DAY for hours, then will get up for dinner, homework, and go back to sleep. He's always complaining "my feet...
  6. My 11 year old was recently tested (all 5 screens) as requested by me. Dr. said his "ratio" was barely positive, and that the lab ratio was 1 to 5. His was 1 to 10. What does this mean?? I keep leaving messages to ask what particular test was positive and their messages back are always too general, so I don't know exactly which screen it was. When...
  7. BACKGROUND: Since my 15 yr. had infectious EBV (Epstein Barr) three years ago, he's really never been the same. PERPETUALLY NAUSEOUS, CRAPPY IMMUNE SYSTEM... He was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes a 1.5 years ago. At our first appt. a few weeks ago, (with this dr.) he said that he had negative tests for Celiac from previous dr. but they arent always accurate...
  8. Anyone know of a dr. near Boise, ID?
  9. sorry!! still getting the hang of posting! I am beginning to wonder if the dr. said his hemoglobin was low, not high. We've been to so many docs and had so many tests this past 3 years that I can't keep it all straight sometimes. I'm just looking for anyone who might see a connection between all of his diagnoses.
