I went to a new doctor today with my entero labs in hand, along with other labs and my history. I was very surprised that he accepted the labs without question. He was a pathologist before he was an md. I asked if I should have the biopsy to see if I had celiac. "He said "No, there is no need, you have Celiac Disease, why put yourself through a biopsy... -

I keep seeing abbreviations for SLD or elimination diets of some sort, but I cannot find where THE ACTUAL diet is on the boards. Can someone help me out? I don't know what the initials stand for or what the diet entails. I have multiple allergies and I need to figure out what else I am allergic to that I am eating. WOw- I cannot believe I found this topic. I was searching cellulose!!!! Every single time I eat it, I get immediate bone pain, making me sick. I can't figure out what the heck it is and why it is in everything I eat from cheese to my cold medicine. I'll eat something I think is safe then BAM bone pain and then go read and there it is AGAIN cellulose!...

I'm not sure what this means. Is Celiac and gluten sensitivity/allergy the same thing? I'm not any more sure if I have Celiac than before I paid for the genetic testing.
