  1. I've decided to put my DS9 on a gluten-free diet- the more I read about the more sure I am that he also has celiac disease. He is a very picky eater and a very stubborn boy. Does anyone have a good book to recommend about getting a child started on the diet and good recipes that kids really do like? Thanks!
  2. Thank you so very much for your replies! I went over last night and showed her the outbreaks and she could not believe how bad it was. I also gave her this website address and a book on Celiac. Finally, I told her, "Sorry, but I will never eat here again and it will be awhile until you see me again." Ok, said it with a little more emotion- and I think...
  3. My cousin just glutened me 3 days ago to prove that my doctor was wrong. I don't know how I'll trust her again- never, ever with food- but even generally. While we were there I questioned the safety...
  6. Hi, yes- I have a lot of gastric problems- very bad GERD and what they kept saying was IBS (I was always constipated or having horrible bouts of diarrhea), and my middle would bloat so badly that my husband said I looked about 11 months pregnant! My rash starts looking like pimples or similar, then ruptures and scab over. They leave purple scars. I have...
  7. Hi, after being dx'd with IBS and suffering from a "mystery rash" for years (3+ years) I was just told that I have dh. My biopsy for dh actually came back negative, but my gastro had just gone to some sort of conference on celiac and she told me that my rash is a prime example of dh. Both lower legs, both arms, my rearend and my stomach are all affected...
