  1. Thanks for your comments. Re E numbers: I found a list at www.naturallyhealthylifestyles.com. It is helpful because it lists the E Number, the name, foods it is used in, and side effects in an easy to read chart. Or, one could just Google it and see what they come up with. I found several sites.

I was researching non-allergic, non-bacterial chronic rhinitis (which I have along with celiac) and found an article by Prof. Maria Luisa Pacor, MD (Italy) with an abstract about chronic rhinitis stating that food additives (as those you mentioned)"can be considered triggers or aggravating factors...
