  1. Exactly...it would be nice if all companies were like Kraft or Edy's or Heinz, etc. But some apparently don't get it...even Walmart does an excellent job of this on their store brands. And yes,I did react some and was glutened by the DeMet's Sugar-Free Turtles. Makes you wonder who you can trust...back to the hard-boiled eggs and coconuts...
  2. More from DeMet's: "P.S. The only possible source of gluten in Turtles would be from maltose (a component of chocolate), which contains wheat. That is why I mention you may want to check with your physician." So even though it's not listed in the Allergy section it may still be there. 7. Thanks to all who replied to my post,am now recovering from the fudge bars. Special thanks to Celiacmom for finding the info on their website. I was unable to find a Unilever-Breyers FAQ,phone number and my letter to them was returned today as undeliverable (sent to adr on box). Have never encountered a company who just did not wish to hear...
  8. Hello, Just found out to my dismay that Bryer's Carbsmart Fudge Bars contain Malt Powder. Missed it on earlier checks. Good luck trying to find it on a Unilever site. They do claim to list gluten stuff but one would expect the usual wheat, rye, oats, etc at the bottom-this is just another ingredient in the list. Have had no reactions...
