  1. I have been sick as a dog this week after making a delicious risotto with TJ's arborio rice. It is on their gluten-free foods list (which is why I thought it was ok) but on the box it says "Made in a facility that processes wheat". Unfortunately I didn't read the box until after I ate it and started feeling horrible. Made me remember why I don't eat gluten...
  2. Your lunch meat may have had gluten in it also. And your Starbucks, if you ordered it with a sugar-free liquid sweetener. Chocolate bars also get my tummy in an uproar, I think due to the soy lecithin.
  3. I was also disappointed in the Trader Joe's gluten-free brownie mix.... it tasted like it was mostly sugar when I baked them a few months ago. Since then I have tried Gluten-Free Pantry by Glutino brownie mix and that made excellent brownies, I would highly recommend that brand.
  4. I can relate to this... though blood work and biopsy showed no signs of celiac (well duh, Dr, I've been off it for 4 months) it's the anxiety and depression and emotional sensitivity that I experience after a glutening that I fear the most. The sacrifices we 'gluten syndrome' people have to make are great. It is part of being an adult to take responsibility...
