Maybe by now you may have stopped itching a bit, but it took about 2 months on Dapsone before my husband was getting really good relief. It got progressively better. after 2 years on Dap with a very stritct gluten-free diet he was able to go off it and manage on the diet. Jude.

My husband was diagnosed 10 years ago with DH. He has been religiously gluten free for all that time now. He was on Dapsone for about 2 years before he could give it up and go it on his own. It took a few years for the DH to dissappear,(it did lessen as time went on), but even now if he gets really sweaty he gets bands of DH around hat lines, sunglass...
