  3. i called farley's & sathers, the makers of fruit stripe gum, to check on their gluten-free status since the ingredients include natural and artificial flavors. the lady read through the ingredients and said that it didn't contain wheat because there is no allergen alert of any of the big 8. this was my first call to a company so i didn't think to inquire...
  4. i am a 'silent sufferer' or just not that sensitive (yet) so i really can't tell. i suppose i'll see how my #'s are looking and go from there. thank you all!
  5. upon further inspection, i found that one of my lotions has oats in it. now i know oats are a concern when you eat them, does the same rule apply when in lotion? the lotion in question is Open Original Shared Link anybody have any reactions to this lotion? a long shot, i know, but thought i'd ask anyway.

  8. hi all i am newly diagnosed as a 'silent celiac', so don't suffer any GI problems but i do have adrenal/cortisol and thyroid problems. i am trying oust all that nasty gluten but i am having trouble as to how nit-picky i need to be. should i get rid of anything that's made in a factory that processes wheat products or only if made on the same line?...
