  1. Thanks guys, unfortunatly I don't believe gluten is my problem anymore . I've been terribly sick now for at least 2 weeks , in the ER twice and they can't find anything in my blood. I've had extreme weakness and shakiness (vibrating on the inside feeling) to the point that I'm not really able to get out of bed much, my inlaws have now taken my daughter....
  2. yah I'm sure I will , just interested to see how different people react tho. I can't really say like I said if i was highly contaminated or just a little. Wish I knew if this was even the answer
  3. I fear I could have possibly been cross contaminated. I'm not exactly sure how but I have a 2 year old and she does eat gluten so lord knows if I touched her stuff then put my hands in my mouth etc . I've begun getting bad sores on my tongue again and for the past I'd say 5 or so days I've been really sick again feeling shakey and weak, fatigue and mucus...
  4. Hey there anyone in NH that could recommend where you shop for gluten free foods?
  5. OH youtube videos of gluten free cooking.. thats interesting I didn't think of that! I don't think our cottage laws allow us to cook out of our home and sell goods I have to check but I remember something about this being mentioned in school. Where are my notes!
  6. I feel so lost now. I spent the last year in culinary school (albeit very sick while there!) Not knowing gluten was the reason I was having so many problems. The day of graduation I got bombarded by flour from everyone as a joke and I think thats what set me off into the ER two days later with breathing probs, sores in my mouth, shakiness etc. Now I feel...
  7. thank you I've been gluten free only 5 days and my dizziness is completely gone as is the "sick feeling" .. At the time I wrote the post I had just graduated Culinary school and I wonder if being in there 5 days a week for 6 hours was poisoning my body with gluten overload. Breathing it in, handling it etc. Here's my sores now.. Last week ...
  8. oh sorry I should have clarified I'm having my blood drawn to check my vitamin levels and potassium level not for a celiac test! I had a blood test for that a while ago that came out neg. I was still going to doctors getting tested etc etc. My rheumatologist was at a loss for my constant state of inflammation (sores on tongue fingers etc) and asked if I had...
  9. I have quite a bit of the neurological problems too but I feel as tho I'm possibly on the upturn however I'm not foolish enough to realize I can go through phases.. I've been very sick for 7 years so I know its gonna take more than 1 day to resolve itself. I find it surprising I'm having regular bowel movements since starting (I usually only went twice a...
  10. wow thats insane, im reading it can have an opiate effect on ur brain and the withdraw can be like coming off heroine. I'm so glad ur okay
  11. Thanks guys! Yes I seemed to have had "moments" last night on and off where I would get a slightly pounding heart, anxiety, sweats, crawling skin etc etc. then it would go away slightly then come back I seem to be okay today but a it tired, still shaky some (mostly in legs) but dizziness has gone away for now. I'm making sure to hydrate TONS and take walks...
  12. Thank u . I dunno if it's an itch as much as a skincrawling perhaps .. I've had no dairy today mostly fruits veggies and fish. I have been reading some medical articles about gluten withdrawal/detox and I'm stRying to believe this is what's happening. Oh and I had 5 bottles of water today. I do not get blood tests done till Tuesday when my docs office opens
  13. ?huh? I ate quite a lot today including fish salad rice and vegetables for dinner and to be certain I wouldn't get low blood sugar before bed I had half a banana and a cup of juice
  14. I seriously I hope I'm having withdrawl issues and not something else. I felt pretty good today (day 2) then starting tonight I started to feel a bit of anxiety. Thought maybe my sugar was low so I ate a banana had some fruit juice. Its just continued thru the night. Its now 1 am I can't sleep I'm having episodes of sweating, dizziness, muscle weakness and...

  18. So I'm 3 days in to being Gluten free and I must say I am having some improvement in how I feel. I was literally sick in bed thought I was dying and today I was able to take a walk and go food shopping. I do have some questions about all of this tho if you could help me out with some of these I'd be wonderful! 1. I seem to have itching, no rash but esp...
  19. Thanks for all the tips. I've started gluten free since the first post but I'm all itchy now! No rash just itchy .. Is this one of those it has to get worse before it gets better, like the toxins are leaving my system? Anyone experience this?
  20. thank you we posted at the same time reguarding supplements lol
  21. do u take all those daily? i was thinking of starting with a vit. e , zinc and vit b complex
  22. no i can't say it got worse, a few more popped but not directly after. I'm not sure if he used iodine packing but I go back in a week and I will def ask him!
  23. I thank you I forgot to mention I had mouth surgery for a tooth 3 weeks ago and for about a week and a half after that I couldn't hardly eat anything at all so I think thats where the low potassium came from. I forgot to mention that but these other issues have been going on for years and years
  24. Hi there ! So I get these bumps on my fingers and no one can figure out what they are. They are red, hard and hurt. They also itch sometimes. I'm in the middle of possibly finding out if I'm gluten intolerant ( You can read my other post about the mouth sores also here -> Click here Could someone maybe identify these? Do they look familiar?
  25. Thank you guys for your responses. I'm glad that there are others out there who don't think I'm crazy. I feel like docs are so disinterested in what I have to say because after 7 years they just figure if other docs haven't figured it out why would they. So they give me the meds and tell me to be on my way and the meds don't work! I'm sending my hubby out...
