  1. OK, Clark just emailed me the link to the product and one review. I trust Peoter or any other moderator t decide if it's appropriate to post. All I know is I needed a good laugh and this did it. Love, Loey & Clark This was sent to Clark from his best Bro and below is a customer review and the link to the product. I'll understand if it's too...

  3. Dear Kareng, We'll be keeping her and your whole family in our prayers. For some reasons the holidays uually bring some sort of catastrophe. I guess it goes with the territory. We're al so busy trying to get everything ready. As for where to post this, I look at this thread as a place to laugh and to hang out with my psilly family even though what...
  4. The first treatment they try is a painful enema. If not, surgery. I'm still smiling though and feeling blessed to have all of my psillies in my life. Evidently everything I have is connected. They're all autoimmune and you're more susceptible (as we all know). I'm going back to my PCP in 45 minutes and then I'll know what the next step is. I've seen my PCP...
  5. Hi, I'm so sorry to hear that you have multiple medical problems and doctors who don't GET it. I have Lupus, Leukemia and Scoliosis in addition to my Celiac. The worst thing is when the doctor doesn't believe you. I've lucked out and I have a team of doctors who take care of me. I do have days that I feel like a hypochondriac but it always turns out...
  6. HAPPY GOBBLE GOBBLE TO ALL WHO CELEBRATE AND HOLIDAY BLESSINGS TO EVERYONE (THANKSGIVIANS OR NOT). My boy is back home through Sunday and we go to Ct. overnight tomorrow (and as usual I have walking pneumonia). At least it won't stop me from enjoying the food - just the wine. Rachelle, extra thoughts, blessings, and prayers to you. You're one of...
  7. Happy Birthday Jesssss!!! Wub, Loey P.S. I've been keeping up but not up to posting. Miss you all!!! An early Happy Gobble Gobble Day to our dear non Canadian friends (and to them as well!)
  8. I'm so happy to hear that you're able to eat now. It's funny - with all of the tests I've had I've never had my thyroid checked (perhaps no reason to check it). Clark just came home from being away for four days and he has two possible connections that would allow him to work from home (or do minor traveling). So he just gets home and tonight is my sleep...
  9. Update: I just got off the phone with Clark (he's attending a conference until my sleep study Tuesday) and he had two men who own their own companies approach him. They were familiar with his work and the first would like to talk about integrating his work with Clark's. The second one was interested in him doing consulting. Thank God it could all be done...
  10. You HAVE to take a picture of that if you see it again!!!! Loey
  11. You go girl!!! I was at 99 at my sickest. I regained and now I hover between 113 and 116. I'm only 4'11" so I should range from 103-113. My doctors prefer me on the higher end just in case I wind up needing chemo or radiation. I've been reading funny lupus books (as opposed to funny chemo books as I'm not on chemo and don't plan not to be!!!). I think we...
  12. Good to have you back :-) and sorry about the migraines. I had them until the doctor drilled into my skull and took out all of this yellow gunk. Now I have to get rid of the double vision and vertigo. He gave me a patch to wear when I'm reading or watching TV (it's yet another reason for Clark to poke fun at me (ARGGH). Will be back online this weekend as...
  13. So sorry you're not feeling well. Most people would be thrilled to lose weight but they don't understand that when it's due to a chronic illness it's scary. When I was first diagnosed with Celiac I dropped down to 99 lbs. Right now I'm between 112 and 116. appetite not great so I'm hovering at 113. I've discovered that my clothing and wig weigh 2 lbs. ...
  14. Good to have you back :-) Patee, and sorry about the migraines. I had them until the doctor drilled into my skull and took out all of this yellow gunk. Now I have to get rid of the double vision and vertigo. He gave me a patch to wear when I'm reading or watching TV (it's yet another reason for Clark to poke fun at me (ARGGH Yee Matees). Will be back online...
  15. Wish I could send you some of mine. I have a big bag of assorted chocolates and then three other bags (luckily I have the receipt for two of them). Well I had a total of 12 including the 7 from next door. My sweet little girl that I tutor came from about a half an hour today. I didn't recognize her until she said "thanks Miss Lois." Today she brought...
  16. Where is everyone? Trick or Treating or answering the door. We only had our neighbors with the seven kids stop by so far. Check back later or tomorrow. Love, Loey
  17. So sorry to hear that your osteopenia is getting worse. I was just fitted in a brace and between that and my scar Clark calls me Igor. Sending lots of love and healing positive energy! Love, Loey
  18. HAPPY HALOWEEEEEEN!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE, LOEY P.S. I'm opening the door in my old pumpkin costume from when I taught first grade. My favorite is my purple flapper but it's inappropriate. Hope we get trick or treaters. We're in a new development and last year only got 15 (7 from our next door neighbor - they like procreating
  19. So sorry about Lucy. I think we're allowed to share sadness here so we can lift each other up by y giving love, support and laughter. My psilly addition is that I give out my handmade earrings to people who are kind to me (even strangers). Every nurse at the hospital and in my doctor's offices have several pairs. Anyway, I get an email from someone...
  20. Thanks!!! I forgot the specific song- just knew there was one!! It's 1AM and I'm gpoing to try to get back to sleep. Love (and peace) to all from your flower child Love, Loey
  21. HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!!!!! Just spoke to the insurance company and all they needed was for me to answer questions to update my insurance. I guess I'll have to do that again when Medicare comes through. I didn't realize how stressed I was about the $6,259 bill until I found out I didn't have to pay it. That counts as today's blessing AND gratitude! You are always...
