  1. My dr's appt to review the blood work results isn't until two weeks from now, but I picked up the results today. Anxious, I guess. I got tested for thyroid and vitamin deficiencies, in addition to the gluten intolerance. I will attempt to pick out the relevant ones.. One this about this new doctor, very thorough.. I have 11 pages of blood work results...
  2. You know, this transition has been fairly easy for me, too. Although I miss beer and have not tried the gluten free kind yet. I rarely went out to eat in the first place, no fast food, and read the labels on everything I ate (no dairy, nothing artificial, no corn syrup or corn, soy, etc), so this is just another thing I have to watch for. 3. Unfortunately, soon as husband's deployment is over, I'm moving out of state to where he is stationed.. Already having anxiety about losing a great doctor..

I took my son in today to get tested, and I guess I was the...
  6. Thank you for the response. Been losing weight this way, too.. Gotta love that!!
  7. Thanks guys! I just finished with an epsom salt bath, hoping my skin will feel better. I guess the eye burning really threw me for a loop! I will see if that will resolve on its own, too, while I continue to eat clean. Ok, no more oatmeal, even the $5 bag of 'gluten free' stuff I just got. Is rice ok? I have some whole grain wild rice I ate last...
  8. Hi, I've been having issues with my stomach for years, but the past month or so it has gotten worse. I went to see a doctor who listened to me patiently and asked a lot of questions. She is testing me for wheat intolerance and vitamin deficiencies, thyroid, and put me on a Gluten Free diet. She also prescribed Diflucan for two weeks because of yeast...
