  1. I went gluten-free and casein free. I went casein free because I read somewhere the molecular structure of gluten/casein is very similar and Ive had a lifetime of difficulty digesting wheat/pasta/dairy. Anyway...I did suffer pain so bad I could not walk in addition to migraines, cramps, etc. This Gluten-free Casein-free diet has resolved nearly all my...
  2. Thank you for your reply. As far as I know he only did a CBC. I'll ask and get the lab reports. I had the endo 11/5 and was advised I should have results 11/12. I guess I'll go gluten-free and poo-poo the medical evidence either way as life otherwise is nearly intolerable.
  3. she feeds kid oatmeal. sweetens it. states shes not used sugar in a long time which leaves impression shes been using honey in past to sweeten oatmeal but last 2 times used sugar because no honey in the house.
  4. call your pediatrician. call your pharmacist. google it. the babys symptoms are classic reaction to honey. im on a cell phone and cant send you links. make the phone call. and some babies cant tolerate honey until about 2 years old. restrict honey. reintroduce it at 18 months and watch for reaction. if reaction, restrict again until 24 months. it is HIGHLY...
  5. STOP feeding honey NOW. Its TOXIC to babies. It may be other things but STOP the honey NOW.
  6. I get nauseated consuming breads/pastas. It takes up residence and doesnt move for 5-7-10 days. I had endoscopy today and think it will be negative and doc will tell me I have Irritable Bowel. Can I still be celiac? Im so nauseated eating these foods and also my hubbys wonderful chili and gumbo which Im sure is laden with gluten as he uses a canned starter...
  7. Thank you for the replies. I'm pretty sure gluten is my problem. When I don't consume it, I do feel better. When I do, my stomach hurts, I bloat out (almost look pg), pain, and "movement" problems. It's rough going because I've been called a hypochondriac because of the pain complaints. When I'm in pain and fast a meal or two because of it,...
  8. I'm in Iowa too and just on the front end of trying to diagnose these problems. Can you give me a clue of what this will all cost? Endo, colonoscopy, etc. Ballpark number? I have health insurance but concerned about copays and trying to get it all done by end of year. I've suspected for several years (problems with digestion, migraines, bone pain, low...
  9. I have severe pain in the bones of my legs which I can only describe as "bone cancer" type pain (although I've never had bone cancer - it's just the only way I can think to describe it). It does not feel muscular. It feels like the BONES. It's painful to stand/walk. Pain in femur and tibia. Any connection? I finally get to see a GI doctor in (gasp!)...
  10. My periods have gotten heavier over the last 2-3 YEARS with increasing pain that rolls from my back to my sides and then cramps down hard. They are rhythmic and can be timed. Goes on for sometimes hours. My periods have lasted 5-15-20 DAYS and gets progressively heavier as the months wear on. I thought (thinking otherwise now) that it was early menopause...
