  1. I suggest trying to find a doctor that will treat you with Iodoral. Iodoral is Iodine, and iodine deficiency is the cause of Hypothyroidism. I think it's always better to treat the root of the problem rather then using synthetic hormones. I'm sure if you do some searching you will find a doctor that is familiar with the protocol.
  2. The chicken I ate was from Trader Joe's and I didn't read the back of the package until after I realized I was having a reaction and saw their chickens were fed corn and soy. I'm not sure if I have an allergy to corn. I'm hoping that Whole Food's chicken is soy free. If not, I don't know where I'm going to find some. Hopefully my "vegetarian fed" Organic...
  3. So Grass-Fed meats would be safe then, right?
  4. I recently found out I am allergic to soy and just had a reaction from chicken that was fed a soy based diet. If I buy chicken that was fed a "vegetarian diet" does that exclude soy???
  5. Well thanks for the information. Last night I decided to eat a piece of rye bread to see what would happen to me since it's been a while. Well, about 15 minutes after eating it I was depressed and had to go lay down. I fell asleep at 8 pm (suprised I fell asleep so fast with ravaging stomach pains) and woke up at 8am this morning and felt like I was hit by...
  6. I had edited the test results. Everything came back negative. I will be getting a biopsy done now that I have medical coverage. I'd like to see if I have any damage done to my villi. My feelings suggest I do have some sort of a malabsorption because of the white spots on my fingernails but I'm not really sure.
  7. Hello, I just picked up my results and here they are: TTG IgA AB < 3 U/ml <5 U/ML Negative tTG IgG Ab < 3 U/ml <7 U/mL Negative Gliadin Antibody, IgA < 3 U/ml <11 U/ML Negative Gliadin Antibody, IgG 9 <11 U/Ml Negative I was gluten free for a month prior to the test. I've now...
  8. I figured taking that long time off could of done that. I really don't wanna go back to eating gluten. I just woke up after eating it now and my body feels like I just did an olympic work out I don't have a copy of my test, I'm going to have to go to the office and get some. Is there a test I could take that doesn't require gluten in my system? Like I...
  9. I've been off gluten for almost a month now and the results were fantastic. So fantastic I decided to get a gluten intolerance test. I called my doctor 2 days ago and he told me based on the results I am not gluten intolerant. So I decided to eat a piece of rye toast about 2 hours ago. I feel awful.. I'm dizzy, my vision is blurry, I can't stop blinking my...
  10. Oh, I see.. I really hope this test comes up positive. I'm so sure of gluten being the culprit to all my crazy neurological symptoms. My parents think I'm crazy because I've been trying to "fix" myself for over a year now. I need confirmation! I spend lots of time online searching for an explanation for how I feel and everything leads toward celiac. The...
  11. Correct me if I'm wrong but when someone does go gluten free, it sometimes takes 2 years for all of these antibodies to clear from the system. So how can being gluten free for 2 weeks have any affect on the results other than the possibility of antibodies; showing up, just at lower levels?
  12. I'm a (self diagnosed gluten intolerant) newbie to the whole eating out thing and really wasn't thinking yesterday when going to a diner for lunch and ordering a baby spinach salad with chicken. I had told the waitress I couldn't have any flour on my chicken and she said, "No problem I'll tell the chef." After eating a few pieces of chicken I waited for a...
  13. If you can't tolerate fish, I recommend a D3 supplement I take by TwinLab called "Allergy D3 Caps." They are Fish-Free/Gluten Free/Soy Free/Dairy Free.
  14. Hey guys, I've just recently diagnosed myself with Gluten Intolerance (I have a feeling I am Celiac though based on my gastrointestinal symptoms such as bloating, extreme flatulence and obvious mineral deficiencies such as, white spots on my fingernails) after deciding to stop eating gluten for a few days and noticing I could finally think straight...
