  2. yes thats what i am going to do.. if he wont send the results to me then i will tell him to send them to my primary care.But do you know aside from the genes what they can tell from this genetic test??

  4. yes i have tried 2 times at home and had worse reactionss but it was much earlier on in the diet:( I think i might need a new coffee pot it might be contaminated it hink not sure.This is the first time i was brave enough to try it out i guess it was a stupid move i think i will try starbucks next time they seem cleaner:)
  5. yes i mean i called them and they reassured me all there coffees even flavored which i didnt try were gluten free ughh it stinks i know they said no starbucksss tho

  7. Hey Guys, Not sure if any of you are aware but there is this new i-phone app its calles is that gluten free??? and you have to pay for it but let me tell you it gives lists by food that are varified gluten freee omg its godsenttt:)Does anyone have this app??? xoxox kisses to my celiac friendss
  8. thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and words:)I do have animals but i feel so depressed sometimes i dont even feel like seeing them its a horrible feeling:(My kids are my life but i agree its hard to take proper care of them when you feel down in the dumps,i just want to get over this hump and be normal but deb i totally hear you on the mixed feelings...
  9. oh and ox i did have normal blood tests which showed i did not have anemia but i am going to vitamins panels soon if that is the case it would explain alot:)
  10. ox you hit the nail on the head i have 2 young children who i now stay home with fulltime, i was part time employed but due to celiac i stopped waitresing with food problems didnt think it mixed well.Mari im not sure what it is caused by as that was one of my nagging symptoms before i got diagnosed,also my father is a manic depressive and i think those things...

  15. hey loey i was a waitress for 5 yrs so i was always around other people and there germs as well:( I think its early in your diet and within a yr or so i think you will build yourself up enough where you dont get sick as much xoxo

Shauna thank you soo much for your advice i seem to be reacting to gluten-free macaroni its weird and also pasta sauce but i can have tomatos in other things i dont get it lolzzz I do see an improvement with time like the symptoms lessen which shows hope so i tend to think that cypress your doctor may very well be on point with what hes saying that most intolerances...

  20. to tell you the truth patti im trying to feel out what im intolerant to right now it seems like i am intolerant to EVERYTHING its getting very frusterating at this point and i called my celiac specilaist and he told me food allergy testing is worthless and i tried a food journal but it seems to eliminate everything,do you or anyone else have any tips??

Hey Loey, My answer to you would be YES celiac disease can supress your immune system because your eating the offending foods and your bodys trying to fight them off which in turn makes you less suseptible to fight off other infections.I however am lucky and was diagnosed fairly early and my blood counts were perfect even tho i sure feel anemic and tired...
