About Me

We are on a mission to improve the number and availability of Gluten Free Beer. The problem appears to be that the distribution system does not believe there are enough gluten free folks to buy the beer if they stock it on the shelves. Since distributors refuse to stock it, brewers are not going to make more. It will take a group effort to effectively change this thinking which is why we established the Association.   1. Hi JJbrigade, Did you try the New Planet Pale Ale? I prefer a dark beer so I am not personally looking for the light beers. If you do a search for gluten free beer you will find a number of site and the Association is one of those and has quiet a few reviews and there should be one or two for you to try from that list.
  2. You are referring to Estrella Daura. You need to know that Daura is a low-gluten beer and not gluten free. Just because you don't have a reaction doesn't mean it isn't hurting your intestines! Be careful with this type of beer or even food.
  3. I completely agree with the frustration here. To make a change in the current circumstances, it will take a group effort. If we don't buy the beer that is on the shelves now; Red Bridge, New Grist, New Planet, Green's, St. Peter's, etc., then the distributors are not going to stock more options.   4. Hey Bridge, More than likely you will be okay with a Gluten Free Beer. What kind of beer did you like best when you drank? Wine is a little more iffy as wine can have cross contamination in it from the glue in the aging barrels. We have tried liquor that is suppose to be gluten free and still had a gluten reaction.
