Ok, I am new to this with my son being diagnosed this year, but I like to read up on things that will make big changes in my life...and if you have celiac disease even a speck of gluten can cause problems. You may not feel anything physically, but inside it is going to cause complications. Do you people read up on a serious disease you were diagnosed with...
  2. I am not sure where you worked at McDonalds....but it depends on the location. I worked at mcdonalds for 3 years(yuck) but there fries are in a dedicated fryer. A whole fryer not even near the other fryers. As for the meat, could get cross contamination...but I watch and tell them how important it is. That way my son can be happy for a few minutes

  4. Hi all, I do not have Celiac Disease, but my son was diagnosed in August (four months after being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes). He just turned 10. It has been extremely tough, but I have found if you talk to the managers at Giant Eagle they will help you out and order the foods you request. Have specific suggestions...for example Snyders gluten free...
