  1. Thank you! I thought cross contamination and cross reacting were different. You offered lots of good points, some of which I hadn't considered, like the strainer and the wooden spoons! I am trying really hard not to get discouraged and the more information I get the better I feel about the choices I am making.
  2. I just read in another post something about "cross reacting" foods and I am wondering if someone could explain that to this newbie. I ask because there have been a couple of times when I have eaten things like potato chips or corn chips, both absolutely gluten-free and had a mild reaction*. I am wondering if there's something else going on. I am trying...
  3. I know this post is old (I am newly gluten-free and new to this site) but I have EXCELLENT service and care at PapaRazzi on rte 9. The minute you mention...
  4. Yes - the base for the Light Frappuccino's DOES contain "a small amount" of gluten, which is either correct or the party line since two different managers from two different locations used the same verbiage.

I *think* it was the corn chips, which they do warn about on their site but the reaction I had was way out of proportion based on my past experiences with them. They DID seem a little crazed so it's possible...
  6. I think I would have ended up responding with "And people with rotten attitude shouldn't work in restaurants. Please go get your manager." UGH!!!!!!
  7. I just confirmed via phone in customer service that ANY beverage at Dunkin Donuts is gluten free. The woman said that they all have postings at their stations with this information. This fact of course will NOT mitigate any cross contamination issues so keep that in mind. Enjoy your day!
