  2. I'm new to all this. My daughter and myself recently tested positive for gluten sensitivity thru entero labs and are now gluten-free. I'm beginning to think I should spring for genetic testing to help determine if we are predisposed to Celiac (and thus other auto-immune issues). I'm curious if entero's genetic testing is different from genetic testing...
  3. I love Bette Hagman's Butter Based Bread recipe and wanted to double it (as she suggests) but I don't know how much yeast to use. In her newer books she lists a small recipe and large recipe for breads and uses the same amount of yeast in both. But the largest recipe I found was with 4 cups of flour (she uses 2 1/4 tsp yeast).   4. Hi Laurie - Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I haven't checked this board in a while. My daughter is 13. We just went gluten-free for her in Feb. She had been having severe abdominal cramping and she tested positive for gluten sensitivity - gluten-free has cured her cramping and she is like a new person emotionally.   6. I found a great mix that is gluten free. The mix is made by Pamela's products and is called: Ultimate Baking & Pancake mix. i have only found it a Whole Foods and Wild Oats, but im sure you can also find it elsewere. happy cooking
