I'm not sure if it's a symptom either, but my son struggled with boughts of insomnia prior to his diagnosis a month ago. He would go to bed sort of ookay (he's 2), but then he would wake up and be up for 2-3 hours in the middle of the night. It was terrible. He hasn't done it as much since we went gluten free, but it's only been a month since the switch...
