  1. I actually prefer Rudi's bread over regular breads. Am I crazy? I did a gluten free challenge and still am not sure if I have a gluten problem but when I have whole grain bread now, it tastes so dry that I go back to Rudi's because I prefer the taste. I am surprised at myself and am wondering if it is not that healthy for me and that is why I like it. Is...
  2. I don't know if I am Celiac, have a wheat allergy or intolerance, or have IBS. I went gluten free for two months and my bowel movements were fine. No cramping or diarrhea. But since reintroducing gluten and regular flours I have been having my typical bloating, cramping, and diarrhea. I don't know if this is from the gluten, wheat, or just the kind of...
  3. My symptoms take about 2 weeks to go away. I am sick to my stomach about it. I feel like this is such a set back. I was feeling so good too. No more Indian for me:(
  4. I thought it was safe to eat at an Indian restaurant but I think I got glutened from the Lentil Papadam. Are they usually fried? I am thinking if they are then there is a chance I was glutened by cross contamination. Today I have brain fog, blurry vision, difficulty concentrating, headache and pressure behind eyes. I haven't had this since going gluten free...
  5. I just called the Burt's Bees customer service at 1-888-308-0130 to ask if their Honey Lip Balm is gluten free and the customer service agent said "Yes it is gluten free". I then asked her the source of the tocopherol and she said "It is derived from corn". I don't have any issues with corn. Is it safe to believe what these customer service agents say? I...
  6. I have tried both and prefer Udi's. There is no sugary sweet taste at all unlike Rudi's. Rudi's is excellent for french toast though. It is more of a dessert tasting bread.
  7. Lucia- i am not eating gluten. I was told by several doctors after I had a very serious car accident that I had fibromyalgia. I too am interested in what helped yours. I do also have Sjogren's and Raynauds. I will try to contact you privately. Thank you.
  8. If an antidepressant med gets rid of all my neurological symptoms that I thought were being caused by gluten, could I still be gluten intolerant or have Celiac? I don't get any GI issues except nausea but only after lunch along with my neurological symptoms: dizziness, fatigue, eye pressure, headache, dry mouth, difficulty concentrating, lack of coordination...
  9. AVR- Thanks for all of your suggestions and insights. Because I take a PPI I do take only 1000 I.U. of vitamin D3. I could try taking it twice daily like you do. I have always thought I was low in B-12 too, again especially because of the PPI. My question about the B vitamins is that I read that if you only take one kind of B vitamin it will cause your others...
  10. Pain-Thank you so much for that link about Sjogren's. I had no idea it could lead to all of these symptoms. I have a very bad Rheumatologist. He doesn't really listen to me. He laughed and thought I was crazy when I told him all of my symptoms that occur after lunch. He told me he never heard of that and to stop eating lunch. I tested positive for Sjogren...
  11. I have GERD, gastritis, esophagitis, hiatal hernia all discovered during an upper endoscopy. GI doc said there was some flattening of villi but biopsies came back negative. She said it was inflammation. Blood tests for Celiac came back negative. She told me to go gluten free and see if I felt better. I did that 4 days ago but am not seeing any improvement...
  12. I am not officially diagnosed with gluten intolerance or sensitivity or Celiac. I have GERD, hiatal hernia, gastritis, and esophagitis that was all found out when I had an upper endoscopy. My GI doctor said I had some flattening of the villi but that the biopsies came back negative. She said it was inflammation. My blood tests were negative too. But she said...
