I have been gluten free since 7/2011. I was diagnosed after extensive searching for cause of burping. I have slight gastritis but the biopsy from endoscopy showed damaged villi. Blood test confirmed celiac disease. I am one who does not have any other symptoms other than burping (still not convinced it is from celiac disease). Doctor put me on Omeprazole...
