Thanks! I needed that advice and wish I had did that a long time ago. I'm now starting to consider just going gluten free and see if I feel better. I would like to have an official diagnosis but it doesn't seem necessary. -

Thank you for your response. It feels good to hear from other people and get other thoughts. As you said the importance of a diagnosis is a personal choice. I've been anxiously awaiting my blood test. I'm nervous that I might get a false negative and I'm not sure I'm ready to challenge that because I get the impression from my (new) doctor that she would... -

I didn't know there was such an allergy. One time I broke out in rash on my face but it went a way and since then I've been weary of smoking. Do you also have celiac disease? ( sorry if thats a dumb question) -

I was wondering, if eating gluten free is the only solution for celiac disease, gluten sensitivity and or intolerance; then is there any significance or necessity to have it medically determined that one has celiac disease( or gluten sensitivity/intolerance)? I think I might have celiac disease or gluten sensitivity too. I know how hard it is to explain it to people who know nothing about it and it can be especially intimidating to try to explain your feelings to a doctor. I'm having that same issue right now and I think its just the personality of some doctors to make you feel like you are wasting their time... -
