Why haven't they tried to find out what is making you anemic? isn't it connected to the red cells and bone marrow depletion... I'm going to see gastroenterology consultant tomorrow and my GP wants to investigate what has made me anemic, whether it's celiac or to do a biopsy, camera jobbie -

I had early menopause at age 45/46 due to early hystorectomy. But prior/perimenopause had very very sore/ tender nipples (not whole breat though) every now and then looking back this was my body telling me something but my GP never picked up on this. my recovery was almost instant, within 3days 90% cured within two weeks, most symptoms had gone away completely.... look to eliminating other things like dairy products, eggs. quite often the body become intolerant with few other things to.. elmination diet is the only way. Here in UK you can buy gluten enzyme digestive tabs. Was wondering has anyone tried. I would imagine rather good to have in stock for eating out and/or holidays or if you just suspect Gluten hidden.... Open Original Shared Link

If I buy quinoa pasta, what kind of sauce would you make and most cans, jars(read made) can be out of bounds?? I am very sensitive to white chia seeds, I know they are a superfood, but immediately upset my tummy, make me bloated and gives flatulence..... What do you use brown rice with? -

what do you suggest? something like putting a knorr stock cube in there. I was told by celiac friend that OXO was a no no, but you can have Knorr stock cubes.... -

I tried chia seeds, just a teaspoon and washed it down with juiced carrots and got pain in my stomach which lasted for ages. I know they are a superfood and love to use. How do you desensitise your body. Has anyone else had a reaction to white chia seeds?? -

best advice, talk to pharmacy staff. Also going gluten free you may well find that arthritic symptoms, joint pain my disappear altogether or be drastically reduced. I had very bad nausea/vomiting which I thought was 'migraine' which I also have but after going gluten-free free all these stopped, much to my surprise...... Also stomach bloating downs... -

I don't think I can put my body through that again, I was soooo ill to the point of vomiting..I thought just a week or two would be enough to show up. I feel 100% better just after a week on gluten free. It does seem very common to have anemia pre diagnosis from what I've read on here and internet. What do most people do about bread? do you bake your own... -

I've just had blood results that show anemia, but went gluten free for 1week now. Have had horrible few months. Exhausted, hardly just getting up/dressed/washed. Months of serious flatuence, headaches and nausea. Finally, symptoms got so bad, starting vomiting, as if my food/body refused to accept food at all. About six months ago started with asthma age...
