  1. Hi, I'm 44 years old and was having GI issues for years. Self diagnosed gluten intolerant about 6 weeks ago. Been on very strict gluten-free diet since that time and my GI issues are about 90% better. However, about 2 hours after I eat I feel really strange, lethargic, and some fatigue. Ive been a low carb dieter for years, but now I'm eating more corn, potatoes...
  2. Hi, I always tell people I meet who are having weird unexplained symtoms to try Gluten free for a few days. It is not bad for you and in fact is much healthier than having doctors throw endless drugs at you hoping something will work. If you try the diet, keep it simple like another person mentioned. choose items with only one or two ingredients and make...
  3. I was just about to ask this same question myself. I've been gluten free for a couple of weeks and mostly feel great, stomach trouble gone, more energy etc.. However, like you, I still get a mild bit of brain fog. Mostly feels like I'm a bit disoriented.
  4. Awesome! thanks so much for your prompt response guys. This will really help put my mind at ease. A million thanks.
  5. I apologize if this thread already exists but, has anyone besides me had neurological disorders due to gluten? Before I started to go gluten free I was having horrible "fuzziness" of the head. Felt detached, confused, forgetful etc... After two days off gluten, fog was gone. just curious because this doesn't seem to be a common symptom for celiac or gluten...

Any good physician must consider clinical results as much as lab results. Who cares if someone calls it this or that, the bottom line is, gluten, especially today's version is a toxic foreign substance that your...
  7. That is how I first noticed that something wasn't right with me almost a year ago. It started with rumbly tummy and mild pain and progressed into full blown agony. Please understand, Im only speaking from personal experience. There is no harm in going gluten free for a week to see how it makes you feel.If you go to the doctor, he/she will probably tell you...
  8. Hi there, Thanks for your reply. I am a very active 44 year old. Ive been very healthy my entire life (he says knocking on wood). And yes, 2 weeks is a short time but, I really dont consider myself "recovered" just yet. I realize that many people can have very fast relief from many of their symptoms, but, I also fully understand that the healing process could...
  9. Hello, my name is Robert. I'm new to this forum and to the gluten-free lifestyle. With your patience and understanding I'd like to offer my story of how I've arrived here today. My problems started about a year ago, I started experiencing stomach pain and a rumbly stomach. At the time I figured it was just stress playing havoc with my tummy, like many...
