  1. I was diagnosed about a month ago. For sure, I had (or am having) withdrawal. First week was bad, as were the next few but this week I think I've turned the corner. Since Wednesday, my old appetite has returned with a vengeance and I'm eating like a horse, with great digestion, and hopefully starting to gain back the 10 lbs I didn't need to lose.
  2. I'm new to all this and still experimenting on what to use for a sandwich. I found the gluten-free sliced breads taste pretty bland and I heard about corn totilla rolls. They're cheap; the small ones are under $2 for 30 at Target. Early on, even when I nuked them to heat them up, they still fell apart when I tried to roll cold cuts into one and had no...
  3. Any suggestions on what to use to flavor a salad, besides dressing or oil/vinegar? Thanks! Mike
  4. Any ideas on how to flavor a corn tortilla? I just ate one as-is with some roast beef inside and it had little taste....

Today, I wake up with the preverbial...

  7. I'm hearing a lot about digestive enzymes. I have some that I bought from the Vitamin Shoppe and the ingrediants includes milk. I'm also going lactose free. Do you think I should ditch this bottle for one that has no dairy OR do you think the milk traces will be so small that it shouldn't be an issue? Thanks!
  8. Thanks! Appetite gotten WORSE means I'm not nearly as hungry as I should be, not eating as much and everything seems to take forever to burp up, even water!
  9. I was recently diagnosed and have been off gluten for about 2 weeks. My appetite seems to have gotten worse and my ability to digest anything seems to take forever! I've lost a few pounds, something I'm not happy about as my "fighting weight" is about 10 lbs north of where I am now. I've heard about gluten withdrawal and how this new eating style can...
