    ARCHIVED What To Do Next?

I have been gluten free for a few months now. But latley I have had some re-occouring symptoms. I was found to be positive in a blood test in one catagory out of six. My doctor said I should have a biopsy done on my small intestine to be sure. But I understand that being on a gluten free diet may give the test a false reading. My symptoms are not in...
  2. I'm getting paranoid about eating in general. My wife is getting tired of me asking "you sure thats gluten free?" I did find some gluten free beer today tho.
  3. There is a place near us called "Red River BBQ". They make thier own BBQ sause, which they also bottle and sell. It is gluten-free and quite tasty too!
  4. I found a place in Ohio that has Bards. I'll have to drive over to get it. I'm in PA. Looking forward to it!
  5. Just the meat I mean. Isn't it just lamb and beef?
  6. Thanks for the insight. The Mexican I order is not deep fried. I will have to ask again about wheat flour in the rachero sause. The one waiter said there wasn't, but I'll ask again to be sure. Also, I was told I couldn't not have white rice, only brown rice. Isn't there gluten in white rice?
  7. Actually, I did ask at the Mexican place. Corn tortillas on the chicken enchaladas. They said the ranchero sauce was safe. Its basicly a tomato based sauce. I don't know about Chineese tho, havent gotten that far yet
  8. As a recent, new gluten free person. I'm wondering what is safe when dining out. I love Mexican food. I always get chicken enchaladas w/ green chili and a temale w/ ranchero sause instead of the brown gravy sause. I think I'm safe there. But what about Chineese food? anything safe to eat there? I was going to get a Gyro the other day(meat only) but found...
  9. Thanks again folks. This is certainly a mysterious disease. It seems to affect people in different ways too. I have never had any chronic stomach or intestinal problems to speak of. I used to have heartburn off an on, and I remember as a kid having bad stomach cramps that would come and go. Other than that a pretty much normal life until the mouth ulcers...
  10. Thanks for the replys everyone. I guess I'll have to contact my doctor to find out exactly which catagory I tested positive in . I remember one was a B deficiantcy, which was ok. My doctor did say " looked like I had it, but not 100% sure, should see a gastro doctor to be sure." My dentist is a celiac, and is what led me to get tested. I actually changed...
  11. I have had problems with my gums (not teeth)and was diagnosed with errosive oral Lichen Planus. A disease that left lesions in my mouth and gums causing recession in some areas. Since I have changed my diet to gluten-free, the soreness has left.
  12. Hi folks, I was recentley tested for Celiac disease by a blood test. My doctor said that out of six catagories, I tested positive in only one catagory. My doctor wants me to see a gastro doctor to make sure I have the disease. Since then, (about a month now) I have been on a gluten free diet, and my symptoms have been noticeably better. I have been...
