THANK YOU! :-) Heres another one for you... I have a gluten free white bread recipe and it's telling me to put it on the White bread setting???? I'm going to to it on my gluten-free setting first and cross my fingers. If it turns out bad, trying it on the other. I'm finding this rather aggravating in making things. There are so many contradictions in everything...

I was in a gluten free restaurant and had a wonderful toasted sandwich. I asked how they toasted it and they told me that they just put it in a pan on the stove with NO butter or anything, just dry, and then flip it. That's what we do at home now, and we love how it comes out! :-)

Do I HAVE to make all of my gluten free breads on the gluten free setting of my bread machine? Some recipes tell me to put it on the sweet bread setting, or other random settings and I get confused! I only have one gluten free setting on my bread maker... OH~ this question also pertains to the dough setting. I'm assuming that I can make gluten-free dough...

I'm making bread, and have all of my flours except for the garfava flour. Does anyone know a flour I can use to substitute until I can find some? I live out in the middle of nowhere and it's very hard to find all of this stuff! Thanks!

YES! Among others! I did find that ortego taco seasoning is also gluten free- so bring on the taco's tonight!! :-) My twins are 12, so this adjustment is hard on them!

I am not sure what particular Hunts ketchup I had, but I gave it away already.. My son is also a type one diabetic. I'm trying my best and like I said, it gets overwhelming when one book says to stay away from certain vinegar's that are in ketchup and other things and then other sites say it's ok?
