I found that "A Taste of Thai" brand has some great gluten-free seasonings and side dish options. On their website you can even search for gluten-free recipes and filter by ingredients. I tried a few of them this week and thought they were great-- very easy too.

I went there recently and had a similar experience. I found the manager very helpful. I was excited to have this as an option for when I get a pizza craving.

Thanks for all of the great advice. I did go out and by some kitchenware (cutting board, pots, utensils, colander, etc.) that are only to be used with gluten free items. I also checked my shampoo, makeup etc. I did find one of my face scrubs listed wheat so I gave it away. I also cooked several meals for easy lunches so I will have good choices that I know...

It has been almost 2 weeks since I went gluten free. I was hoping that I would be feeling better by now, but in some ways I feel worse. After waiting for what seemed like eternity, I finally heard back from my doctor. She said I tested positive for Celiacs (amongst other things). So while I am relieved to finally know what I am dealing with... and quite frankly happy to know it was not all just in my head, I am quite anxious to know what lies ahead. I have already started a gluten free diet...

I agree the childhood diagnosis does probably mean that it is very likely going to be positive. It amazed me that the doctors would give such a serious diagnosis with so little information to my parents. My mom felt terrible when I told her all of the typical Celiac symptoms that I have dealt with for years and not having thought about going back to the doctors...

Cortney, I am in almost the exact same situation. I am only about 5 days in. Rather than feeling better, I would say I have almost felt worse in the past few days. I have been told my some that it is your bodies reaction to the change and that it will go away with the other symptoms. I don't really have suggestions for you since I am new at this as well...
