    I've been on arthritis meds since I was 12 and that was part of the reason I went gluten-free. I'm lucky in 2 ways, 1 the meds have slowed permanent damage to my joints and 2 I self diagnosed myself to prevent further problems.

    I used to get very depressed about not eating pizza until I started making my own. Now that I have the hang of it, it tastes better than frozen pizza and I can put whatever I want on it.

    Oh bread. When I first went gluten-free I bought a loaf of EnerG bread and uggh! I thought gluten free would be terrible and I would never eat good food again. Just wondering, does anyone like this stuff? Why is it in all the stores? I like Food For Life's Millet Bread that I bought at Woodman's, a normal super cheap grocery store in the Chicago area...

    Maggianos is gluten free friendly? That used to be one of my favorite places, I love Italian food and well they make the best. What gluten-free choices do they have? Is it the Chicago one? And what's all this about gluten-free sausage? I've still been eating sausage since going gluten-free and don't think I've had problems.

    Try a Woodman's if you will be around one. They have a pretty good selection, but the biggest bonus is that they are cheap. (At least when compared to the health food stores.)

    To check for any studies being done go to clinicaltrials.gov. If it's being done, they'll list it. But last time I checked they weren't doing any celiac related studies.

    I thought Celiac caused infertility to almost all that have to suffer through it.     With lupus it's ok to give blood if it only affects your skin and joints. At least that's what I was told last time I donated. I also know that the blood supply was extemely low at the time, so I hope they didn't accept me because of that.
