About Me

Hi, I was diagnosed with Celiac via Blood work in February 2011, after 6 years (after the birth of my daughter)of various symptoms. I had Depression/Anxiety,brain fog, skin problems, fatigue, vision problems, headaches, constipation, diareha, stomach pain, bloat, and gas.

  1. I was diagnosed about a year ago and the bloat only got better about two weeks ago when I decided to clue into the fact that I had been gluten free for 1 year and I was still bloating after most meals.I cut out all dairy & lactose and suddenly no more bloat. So I would personally get off all diary and see what happens.
  2. I am not sure what test you would have done to check your Adrenal Gland but my Naturopath said that going undiagnosed with Celiac for long periods of time will always end up in Adrenal fatigue. So she put me on some natural Adrenal Boost supplement. I take 2 pills each morning. I also take 1 protein/Vitamin/Mineral Shake per day called Medi Clear.Glutamine...
  3. Hi there, one common pitfall with weight loss is not eating enough - you have to make sure that you are eating the right things probably 4-5 times a day. Unprocessed food, Protein, fruits, veggies. My naturopath saids to me I want you eating lots of Protein and lots of veggies.Try and balance your meals as well - make sure there is Protein on your plate for...
  4. Hi everyone, I posted a question last week about having recurring pain on my left side under my left bottom rib.Sometimes it is also mide left back pain. It happens when I get glutened and lasts for a few weeks. I started doing some research and was wondering if it may be a hiatal hernia. It started after I had my daughter (the same time the celiac started...
  5. Hi Everyone I am new here I have diagnosed with Celiac since February of 2011 and have been Gluten free since then. I am generally feeling better but have definately had some pit falls along the way. I still occasionally get Glutened every now and again (by accident of coarse). I was just wondering if any of you have experienced pain/discomfort in your abdomen...
  6. Hi there, I noticed you mentioned anxiety - which for me was a major sympton. I went to see a Naturopath this past summer and she put me on a Calcium Magnesium Citrate (powder)supplement. She told me that undiangosed Celiac can lead to Magnesium deficiencies (among other things)if you are deficient in Magnesium you can experience anxiety. When I get get glutened...
  7. My reactions tend to last around 6 days, first the digestive /pain starts then the sleeplessness and the anxiety/irritablity, then the fatigue sets in. Lastly I usually get a rash (DH on my body)with the itch of coarse.
